Houses

The banners representing our school's houses hang in the Old hall. The house method was introduced to encourage friendship and understanding throughout the school. Each House is named after a Scottish castle. Competition between the House ranges across a wide variety of school activities including sport, drama, singing and debating.

The House mottos and colours are:

Berwick: Ad Astra (To the Stars) Blue & silver
Braemar: Honour before Honours Blue & yellow
Glamis Our Best Always Blue & red
Lochleven: Nemo Sibi Vivit (No-one Lives for Herself) Green, red & black
Stirling: Aude Sapere (Dare to be Wise) Yellow & black
